CyberCoders is recruiting for an unnamed client seeking a Database Architect & Engineer to build and own the data foundation for an AI-driven platform. The role combines hands-on data architecture and engineering with responsibility for production pipelines, data quality, governance, and AI-ready data structures.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data architecture, including data models, warehouses, integrations, and governed data services
• Design and manage data platforms using Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL, and Python
• Build scalable ELT pipelines and integrations with CRM, financial, document, and third-party data sources
• Establish data governance, quality controls, lineage, and security standards
• Design data structures optimized for AI applications, analytics, search, and retrieval
• Partner closely with software architecture and engineering teams to define shared data contracts
• Lead AI-assisted data delivery practices and review agent-generated data solutions

• 5+ years of experience designing and operating enterprise data platforms in production

• Familiarity with document extraction, AI/LLM applications, RAG, or vector search technologies
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar tools
• Knowledge of SOC 2 or other compliance frameworks
• Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
