Codefeast is seeking a Senior Terminal Systems & Infrastructure Expert to design, build, and validate technically challenging terminal-based tasks that simulate realistic production environments. The role focuses on creating interconnected Linux and infrastructure environments, diagnosing production failures, and developing automated verifiers and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic and technically challenging terminal-based scenarios
• Build environments involving Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, databases, networking, and system services
• Diagnose complex production failures across multiple interconnected services
• Create automated verifiers and measurable success criteria
• Develop scripts using Python or Bash for setup, testing, automation, and debugging

Skills

• Advanced Linux and terminal proficiency, including SSH, Bash, shell scripting, networking, permissions, logs, processes, and system services
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues, storage, replication, and recovery
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud infrastructure, and system configuration
• Strong Python or Bash skills
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Nginx, systemd, LVM, security hardening, distributed systems, or AI coding agents
