Eton Wealth Management House is hiring a Director of International Financial Policy to shape and oversee its global financial policy framework. The role develops and updates international finance policies, monitors regulatory and macroeconomic developments, evaluates P&L and risk implications, and advises on capital allocation. It also involves preparing policy briefs, collaborating with internal teams, presenting recommendations, and representing the firm with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Shaping and overseeing the firm’s global financial policy framework
• Designing and updating international finance policies, monitoring regulatory developments across jurisdictions, and assessing the impact of macroeconomic trends on client strategies
• Lead policy analysis, oversee P&L implications of strategic decisions, and provide guidance to advisors and leadership on risk management and capital allocation
• Preparing policy briefs, collaborating with finance and planning teams, participating in strategic planning sessions, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Representing the firm in discussions with external partners, ensuring that international financial policies support sustainable growth and client outcomes

Skills

• Strong expertise in International Finance and Finance, with the ability to translate complex global developments into actionable policy guidance
• Demonstrated capability in Financial Planning, including long-term portfolio strategy and alignment with client objectives and risk tolerance
• Advanced Analytical Skills, including quantitative analysis, scenario modeling, and data-driven decision-making
• Proven experience in P&L Management, with a track record of driving profitable growth and managing financial risk
• Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Experience in senior-level policy or strategy roles within wealth management, asset management, or financial services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex policy matters clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are an advantage
• Ideally with international exposure
