Impel Consultant is seeking a Director of Marketing Growth & Strategy to help organizations strengthen marketing performance and achieve sustainable growth. The role guides marketing leaders and stakeholders in developing growth strategies, evaluating responsible AI-enabled workflows, and improving measurable marketing outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and support practical marketing-growth strategies that improve audience engagement, campaign effectiveness, conversion opportunities, and commercial performance
• Assess and recommend responsible AI-enabled workflows that may support content development, customer insight, marketing operations, campaign planning, and decision-making
• Guide marketing leaders and stakeholder teams through strategic planning, growth priorities, and implementation roadmaps
• Develop and lead virtual and in-person workshops, discovery sessions, and planning discussions that help teams turn strategy into action
• Build strong relationships with client and internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation, responsible experimentation, and continuous improvement
• Use relevant data, stakeholder insight, and performance indicators to evaluate marketing effectiveness, refine priorities, and support measurable improvement
• Consider data privacy, brand standards, quality controls, client confidentiality, and applicable policies when evaluating AI-enabled marketing approaches

Skills

• Demonstrable experience in marketing strategy, growth strategy, consulting, agency strategy, commercial transformation, or a closely related client-facing discipline
• Ability to develop and implement practical strategies that improve marketing performance, operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and customer outcomes
• Practical understanding of how AI can be evaluated and applied in marketing contexts, with sound judgment around data privacy, brand quality, and responsibl e
• Ability to lead discussions, facilitate workshops, present recommendations, and build trust with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to use relevant performance data, customer insight, and business context to identify priorities and recommend actions
