Dexian is presenting an opportunity with an unnamed organization seeking an Account Manager to develop and expand strategic relationships with electrical distribution customers across North America. The role manages national accounts and drives transformer and critical-power solution sales through distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with national electrical distribution accounts
• Target and grow relationships with organizations similar to Rexel, Wesco, and Graybar
• Drive sales of transformers and related critical-power solutions via distribution channels
• Identify new opportunities within national and regional distributor networks
• Build relationships across sales, procurement, technical, operations, and leadership teams
• Create account strategies aimed at revenue growth and increasing the organization’s presence within targeted distribution customers
• Manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle
• Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and commercial teams
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate account forecasts
• Explore additional channel and distribution partnerships to broaden North American reach

Skills

• Proven experience in account management or business development within electrical distribution, transformers, or critical-power equipment
• Strong network and relationships within national electrical distribution channels
• Experience working with large distributors or comparable organizations
• Knowledge of transformers and electrical infrastructure products
• Successful track record in developing and expanding national or strategic accounts
• Experience in selling through distribution and channel relationships
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Ability to manage large accounts with multiple stakeholders across various locations
• Hunter mentality with the capability to convert existing industry relationships into new revenue streams
• Additional experience in expanding distribution channels
• Experience working with diverse internal teams to coordinate sales efforts
• Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within distributor networks
