About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer beauty brand, is looking for a creative and experienced Remote E-commerce Beauty Product Developer . This role is instrumental in conceptualizing, developing, and launching innovative beauty products that resonate with our online customer base. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to bring new products from ideation to market, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with brand strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty trends, possesses strong product development expertise, and excels in a remote, collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities

Identify market opportunities and trends to conceptualize new beauty product ideas. Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from initial research and formulation to final packaging and launch. Collaborate with R&D teams and contract manufacturers to ensure product quality and compliance. Develop product briefs, specifications, and testing protocols. Work with the marketing team to create compelling product narratives and launch strategies. Monitor product performance post-launch, gathering feedback for future improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in beauty product development, preferably with a focus on e-commerce brands. Proven success in bringing new beauty products to market. Strong understanding of cosmetic formulation, ingredients, and regulatory requirements. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate remotely with diverse teams.
