Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SQUAD is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to serve as a technical expert in low- and medium-power, analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics. The role owns complex hardware projects from concept through mass production, including architecture, PCB design, testing, manufacturability, compliance, technical reviews, and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of complex digital, analog, and mixed-signal devices
• Architect system-level hardware solutions and select key components based on cost, performance, and availability
• Design multi-layer PCBs with a strong focus on Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and EMC/EMI compliance
• Carry out advanced measurements, debug complex hardware issues, and analyze results using high-end lab equipment
• Developing Design for Testing (DFT) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) guidelines for new products
• Conducting schematic and PCB layout reviews for the team
• Mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices in hardware development

Skills

• BSc or MSc degree in Electronics, Radio Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of proven commercial experience in hardware development
• Advanced circuitry knowledge: Deep understanding of both analog (low noise, precision) and digital (high-speed) circuitry
• Embedded Systems: Strong experience with microcontroller-based embedded systems and proficiency in C/C++ programming for hardware validation and bring-up
• ECAD Mastery: Expert-level experience with CAD Altium Designer, including high-density interconnects (HDI) and complex routing
• Compliance: Practical experience with EMI/EMC mitigation techniques and preparing devices for CE/FCC certification
• At least Upper - Intermediate level of English
• DSP (Digital Signal Processing) or FPGA experience (Verilog/VHDL)
• Experience with Python or LabVIEW for test automation
• Familiarity with RF design basics or wireless communication modules (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa)
• Knowledge of thermal management in electronics
