Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Krause Estate Planning & Elder Law Center is seeking a Financial Administrator to independently manage payroll and core bookkeeping functions. The role oversees payroll compliance, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, purchasing, vendor management, and lease management.

Responsibilities

• Independently process payroll, including wage calculations, deductions, garnishments, and direct deposits
• Monitor computer-generated reports for errors, troubleshoot discrepancies, and reconcile payroll issues
• Maintain and update master payroll records, including tax exemptions, benefits, and loan payments
• Record employee transfers, wage adjustments, and other personnel-related payroll changes
• Prepare and file periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
• Assist with preparation and issuance of W-2 forms at year-end
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, client billing support, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for attorney/management review
• Ensure compliance with applicable payroll/tax regulations and firm accounting policies
• Responsible for purchasing, vendor management, and lease management

Skills

• 2-5 years of general office, accounting, and payroll experience in a legal office is required
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online
• Bondable up to $4M
