Centurion is seeking a Junior-to-Mid Level Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer focused on backend development, APIs, AWS, and large-scale data environments. The role involves developing Python-based backend services, integrating cloud and data platforms, supporting scalable multi-tenant and event-driven applications, and contributing to front-end development, testing, Agile practices, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs, primarily using Python
• Develop and integrate APIs across AWS, Databricks, databases, and other systems
• Support applications and data environments involving large-scale datasets, including terabyte- and petabyte-scale environments
• Develop and support multi-tenant applications, with consideration for scalability, security, and data isolation
• Design and support event-driven systems, including asynchronous processing, messaging, and event-based workflows
• Work with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud data platforms
• Troubleshoot and optimize application, API, data, and cloud performance
• Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS as needed
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, testing, documentation, and CI/CD practices
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, particularly GitHub Copilot, to improve development productivity and code quality

• • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS
• • Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and application monitoring
