Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Refactor Talent is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a growing technology company on a four-month contract. The role owns development across the application stack, including building applications, maintaining API integrations, supporting AWS applications, coordinating offshore resources, and resolving production issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full-stack applications using React, Java, SQL, and AWS
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between internal and external APIs
• Coordinate and provide technical direction to two offshore development resources
• Partner with systems engineering to maintain application stability and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX to translate business requirements and designs into production-ready functionality
• Take ownership of development priorities and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced startup environment

Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant full-stack software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Java
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL
• Practical experience developing and supporting applications in AWS
• Strong experience designing, building, or maintaining API integrations
• Self-directed, adaptable approach with the ability to lead work and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
