The role focuses on building and enhancing modern frontend features with React and TypeScript, while contributing to backend development, system design, architecture discussions, collaboration, testing, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• 75% Frontend Development (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
• 15% Backend Development (Python/Django and API integrations)
• 10% Architecture, System Design, and Technical Planning
• 60% Building and enhancing new product features
• 20% Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineering teammates
• 10% Participating in system design, architecture, and technical discussions
• 10% Code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with backend development using Python (Django experience preferred but not required)
• Understanding of software architecture and system design fundamentals
• Experience writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience with Svelte or other modern frontend frameworks
• Professional experience with Django
• Exposure to cloud-based environments and scalable distributed systems
• Familiarity with performance optimization and frontend architecture best practices
• Experience working within high-growth startup or SaaS organizations
• Understanding of data-intensive applications or fintech products
• Experience participating in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing practices
