Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TechNET IT Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an unspecified client seeking a hands-on GCP Platform Administrator. The role focuses on provisioning, configuring, securing, and managing new Google Cloud infrastructure, including automation, networking, access controls, monitoring, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Setup: Lead the end-to-end setup, configuration, and deployment of new GCP components and services from scratch
• Platform Administration: Manage core GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPCs, and Load Balancers
• Access & Security: Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, ensuring least-privilege access for all new component rollouts
• Automation (IaC): Utilize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to automate the provisioning and scaling of new GCP environments
• Network Configuration: Set up and manage secure networking components, subnets, and firewalls for newly integrated platform tools
• Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring and alerting for newly deployed services to ensure optimal platform health, capacity, and performance

Skills

• Proven, hands-on experience working strictly as a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Administrator
• Strong expertise in provisioning and setting up new components within a production GCP ecosystem
• Solid understanding of GCP architecture, security governance, and compliance standards
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (specifically Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment
• Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer)
