[Remote] Global Product Manager - Valves
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Metric Geo is recruiting for a leading global manufacturer of engineered flow control solutions. The Global Product Manager will own the strategy, growth and profitability of an industrial isolation valve portfolio, working with customers and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, guide product development and grow the business.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the global product strategy, including portfolio development, pricing, profitability and market positioning
- Identify new business opportunities and growth initiatives across liquid pipeline and midstream oil & gas markets
- Work directly with customers and commercial teams to understand market requirements, competitive positioning and emerging industry trends
- Partner with Engineering and R&D to translate customer needs into product improvements and new product development initiatives
- Develop business cases and present strategic investment proposals to senior leadership
- Collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Operations and Marketing to ensure successful execution of product strategies
- Manage product lifecycle performance, ensuring competitiveness and long-term profitability
Skills
- Strong technical understanding of industrial isolation valves, particularly those used in liquid pipeline applications
- Experience within valve manufacturing, flow control or related oil & gas equipment markets
- Background in Product Management, Product Line Management, Engineering, Applications Engineering or Technical Sales
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand market dynamics, customer requirements and business profitability
- Experience developing product strategies, managing product portfolios or driving commercial growth
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, customers and senior business leadership
- Comfortable operating within a global, cross-functional organization
- Industry knowledge and business acumen
