Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Neos Consulting Group is recruiting for an unnamed client for a long-term Informatica Data Governance Engineer – Snowflake role. The engineer will implement and maintain data governance solutions, develop and monitor data pipelines, integrate Snowflake with Informatica and other cloud platforms, and support data quality, security, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining Informatica Data Governance solutions including metadata management, data quality rules, lineage, and stewardship workflows while partnering with data stewards, analysts, and business teams to define and enforce governance standards
• Develops automated data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes and integrates Snowflake with Informatica and other Cloud platforms
• Monitors data quality, performance, and reliability across pipelines, contributes to architectural decisions and best‑practice documentation, and resolves data issues to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security
• Provides technical guidance and recommendations related to report development
• Define data transformation rules, metadata, and data lineage documentation
• Ensure reporting and extract requirements align with enterprise data governance standards
• Troubleshoot defects and work with technical teams to resolve issues

Skills

• Strong experience with Informatica Data Governance tools (e.g., Axon, EDC, IDQ)
• Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS)
• Experience with API integrations and workflow automation
• Skill with Microsoft Office tools, particularly with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint
• Understanding of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar)
• Expert of data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage
• Knowledge of enterprise information management processes and methodologies, relational database management systems, and metadata management
• Experience in working in fast-paced and ever-changing environments; achieving project's deliverables and deadlines; exercising sound judgment in making critical decisions; analyzing complex information and developing plans to address identified issues
• Skill in interpersonal relationships, including the ability to work with people under pressure, negotiate among multiple parties, resolve conflicts, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with various levels of personnel
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations (PII) relevant to data management and data governance
• Experience in data focused projects, like moving from Legacy to newer systems
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in data processing, computer science, business administration, or a related field
