Remote Infrastructure Architect needs 12 years of management experience that includes managing system development, integration, operations, maintenance, and support efforts in a global context.

• Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recover design, planning and implementation for virtualized and cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of physical and virtual global storage and network technologies, capabilities, trends and the automated interaction with the physical infrastructure (Cisco, CheckPoint, Alcatel, EMC, NetApp, etc.).
• Knowledge of virtualization management and monitoring technologies, capabilities and market trends

Remote Infrastructure Architect duties:

• Provide technological guidance within an organization.
• Supervise information system and communications network.
• Design, establish, and maintain a network infrastructure for local and wide area connectivity and remote access.
• Consult with administration, department managers, and manufacturing representatives to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss equipment/system changes.
• Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software purchased for the corporation.
• Create a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows.
• Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.
• Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department.
• Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives. Develop and establish operating policies and approaches for computing and information technology.
• Evaluate overall operations of computing and information technology functions and recommend enhancements.
• Advise senior management on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives.
