Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks. The role works across the full software development lifecycle, including API development, database integration, testing, troubleshooting, deployments, and collaboration with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Design and work with relational and NoSQL databases
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices
• Work with Git and CI/CD tools for source control and deployments
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders
• Identify and resolve application performance and production issues
• Prepare technical documentation where required
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning

Skills

• • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST APIs
• • Good experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a frontend framework such as React or Angular
• • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
• • Knowledge of Git and software development lifecycle practices
• • Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
• • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• • Experience with Microservices architecture
• • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• • Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, or other testing frameworks
• • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
