Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant (100% Remote) of Positions: (2) Location: reputed company, Orange County, reputed company, Sacramento, or San Francisco, CA Salary/Payrate:: $38/hr - $48/hr (some flex), bonus and AWESOME benefits Work Environment: Remote (reputed company - Friday, 11 AM - 8:00 PM AND 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Term: Permanent Bachelor’s degree required: No Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired JOB reputed company is a reputed company, remote position. Days and hours are reputed company - Firiday, 11 AM - 8:00 PM AND 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Although working remotely, candidates must live near one of our five offices (OC, LA, SD, SF, SAC) in California. Preferably near LA or OC, which is ideal for onsite training for 30 days. Qualifications: - Must have 5+ years of experience as a Litigation/Legal Assistant in a litigation environment. Labor and employment experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. - Must have experience in calendaring, researching court rules/local rules/judge's rules, and ability to cross-check calendaring using software such as eDockets, Milana or CompuLaw. - Must have experience with eFiling in both State and Federal courts; including but not limited to creating tables of authority, bookmarking exhibits, redacting and Bates stamping. - Position requires critical thinking skills, attention to detail, proof-reading skills, and ability to multi-task. - Must be proficient in MS Office 365 Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook). - Duties also include the following tasks: travel arrangements, expense reports, entering attorney timesheets, and other administrative type duties as assigned.
