Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lincoln Financial is hiring a Local Market Account Manager for its Group Protection Distribution Team supporting Workplace Solutions. The role manages broker and client relationships, retention and account strategies, and consultative benefits support while partnering with internal teams to resolve issues and grow accounts.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow trusted relationships with brokers and clients across your local market
• Lead retention and account management strategies that drive customer satisfaction, profitability, and long-term growth
• Serve as a consultative partner, helping clients navigate their benefits needs and maximize the value of Lincoln's solutions
• Proactively identify and address client concerns, delivering solutions that strengthen relationships and improve outcomes
• Partner with internal teams to provide seamless service, resolve issues, and support client success
• Create and execute strategic account plans that deepen engagement and improve retention
• Identify at-risk business and implement retention strategies to protect and grow your book of business
• Deliver education, insights, and recommendations that help clients make informed benefits decisions

Skills

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 3+ Years of experience in in client service, account management, insurance, employee benefits, or related experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses upon hire
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of employee benefits, group insurance products, or the broader benefits marketplace
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, strengthen relationships, and support client retention and growth
