NTT DATA is hiring a Network Engineer to advise on network strategy and evaluate network designs, services, and technologies for current and future development. The role also performs complex technical analysis of network systems and integration and contributes technical expertise to major projects.

Responsibilities

• Conducts feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans, design of digital/analog networks and evaluation of network services / technology for current and future network development
• Performs complex technical analysis of software, hardware and network systems, systems integration for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches and various transmission system
• Serves as leading contributor within one or more major projects and is recognized internally as the highest level technical subject matter expert

• Knowledge of LAN
• Knowledge of WAN - MPLS, SDWan, P2P
• Security and Hardering (ACL. Prefix-list)
• Routing Engineering PBR, rotuing protocols, BGP and OSPF
• Troubleshooting skins
• VPNs
• Troubleshooting skills and tools as Wireshark
• Wirelles Controllers and Client
• Basic Load Balancing skills
• Expert knowledge of network performance, network administration and troubleshooting techniques
• Mastery knowledge of network related hardware and software (including routers, switches, TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.)
• Mastery understanding of security issues and implications to network solutions
• Typically requires 15+ years relevant experience
