Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Biotheranostics, a Hologic company, develops molecular-based diagnostic tests that support individualized cancer treatment. The Oncology Account Executive develops and manages a sales territory, builds customer relationships, and presents scientific information about oncology diagnostic tests to healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• From oncologists to lab personnel, pathologists to nurses, you will be helping to nurture our relationships with our key customers
• Using your in-depth knowledge of our products, Breast Cancer Index and CancerType ID tests, you will help to develop and implement an effective territory business plan, that will target the top academic medical centers and community-based oncology practices in your region
• You will also look at the national and regional opinion leaders in both academic and community settings, making sure you cover all bases
• As an Oncology Account Executive, you will take charge and develop complete ownership of your territory and territory relationships
• You’ll be memorable, especially when it comes to regional and national training programs, conventions, and symposia
• Most importantly, using your knowledge of oncology, and leveraging our regional Field Science Liaison, you will be sharing effective scientific presentations to our customers
• With this, you will be able to guide our customers to finding the right products to help their patients
• Using your excellent knowledge of the hospital and cancer center environments, you’ll be able to adapt and evolve to meet your potential customer’s needs

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of diagnostics or medical sales experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Science degree preferred
• Oncology preferred
