Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Donnelly & Moore Corporation is seeking an IT Recruiter to support its IT consulting recruitment efforts. The role sources, screens, evaluates, and places IT professionals for contract and consulting opportunities, while maintaining candidate relationships and supporting the placement process.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified IT professionals for consulting and contract opportunities
• Conduct thorough candidate pre-screening and qualification interviews
• Evaluate candidates’ technical experience, communication skills, career goals, availability, compensation requirements, and overall fit
• Present job opportunities clearly, accurately, and confidently
• Build candidate interest and obtain firm commitments before submission
• Confirm that candidates understand and accept the position’s requirements, work arrangement, compensation, and hiring process
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and placement process
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with IT professionals
• Submit well-qualified candidates who meet the client’s technical and professional requirements
• Verify candidate information and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
• Follow up promptly on interviews, offers, onboarding requirements, and assignment-related matters
• Represent Donnelly & Moore professionally with candidates, clients, and business partners

Skills

• At least 3–5 years of IT recruiting experience
• Previous experience working for a staffing or recruiting agency
• Experience recruiting IT consultants for: • Major corporations • Federal, state, or city government agencies • Contract and consulting assignments
• A demonstrated record of placing qualified candidates at a consistently high rate
• The ability to provide verifiable examples of recruiting success, such as: • Number of placements made • Placement or fill rates • Submittal-to-interview ratios • Interview-to-placement ratios • Time-to-fill results • Candidate retention or assignment-completion rates
• Achievement-oriented: Focuses on measurable results and has a history of successful placements
• Honest and trustworthy: Communicates accurately, keeps commitments, and does not misrepresent candidates or opportunities
• Hardworking: Demonstrates persistence, discipline, urgency, and a strong work ethic
• Responsible: Takes ownership of results, follows through, and communicates problems early
• Highly relational: Builds genuine rapport and maintains strong candidate relationships
• Confident: Presents opportunities persuasively and can obtain clear commitments from candidates
• Positive: Maintains a constructive, professional attitude, including during difficult searches or candidate setbacks
• Thorough: Performs high-quality candidate vetting rather than focusing only on submission volume
• Dependable: Works effectively with limited supervision in a fully remote environment
• Senior-level recruiting experience is welcome but not required
• Prior recruiting experience ideally in the New York City and New Jersey metropolitan area
• Experience using JobDiva
• An established network of IT professionals in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area
• Experience recruiting for government contracts or government-agency clients
• Familiarity with contract staffing, consulting engagements, and W-2 employment requirements
