Open role
[Remote] Product Manager, Foundations
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Clasp is hiring a Product Manager for Data & Foundations to lead its Data and Foundations & Integrations teams. The role owns roadmaps and delivery across data integrations, user communications, internal tools and AI, and reporting, serving internal teams, customers, and end users.
Responsibilities
- Run roadmap and sprint planning for the Data and Foundations & Integrations pods, working with two engineering leads
- Keep both teams focused, unblocked, and shipping. Break large efforts into clear milestones and communicate progress and risk honestly
- Prioritize. Demand will always outrun capacity, and you'll make trade-offs openly instead of letting the loudest request win
- Own how we keep our customers' data in sync with ours, from SFTP file ingestion to full API integrations
- Make bringing on a new partner faster, more repeatable, and less dependent on engineering heroics
- Design for what happens when things fail, including validation, monitoring, and clear recovery paths, so problems surface before a partner notices
- Lead enterprise-readiness work like SCIM provisioning that removes friction for larger partners
- Own how Clasp communicates with end users across email, in-product, and emerging channels like AI chat
- Give teams visibility into what goes out, to whom, and why
- Own the tools our teams use to support partners and users, including staff tools, user impersonation, and internal workflows
- Push for better UAT environments and engineering foundations so every product team can ship faster and more safely
- Partner with our data team to bring data from across the business together into a single source of truth
- Set the vision for customer-facing reporting and the internal reporting teammates rely on, and make sure both are trusted and acted on
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years in product management (5+ for Senior)
- Technical depth: you're comfortable in SQL, can read a data model, and understand APIs, webhooks, file-based integrations, and auth and provisioning patterns well enough to hold your own in system design discussions
- Hands-on experience owning or shipping customer or partner integrations (SFTP, APIs, SSO/SCIM, or similar), and a clear view of what makes them scale or break
- Experience running roadmaps and sprint planning for engineering teams
- A real partnership with data teams. You understand the modern data stack (warehouses, pipelines, BI) well enough to contribute to migrations, data quality, and reporting
- Hands-on experimentation with LLMs, MCP, or agents, with a grounded view of where they help in user communications and internal operations, and where they don't
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can explain a migration plan to an executive and a partner-facing impact to an engineer
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
- Ideally on data, integrations, communications, internal tools, or B2B SaaS products
- Fintech, lending, HR tech, or healthcare experience
- Experience in a regulated industry where consumer data, consent, and access controls carry real rules
- Notification or messaging experience (email, in-app, SMS, or conversational AI)
- Building or replacing an internal tools stack at a growing company
Benefits
- Equity component as part of the compensation package, for eligible employees.
- Health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Student loan repayment benefits.
- 401(k) + Match.
- Flexible PTO.
- Opportunities to grow with a fast-moving, mission-driven team.
- Remote work (Eastern & Central time zones only).
