Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. One10 is hiring a Project Accountant to manage billing, revenue, and reconciliation for assigned projects in accordance with GAAP revenue recognition guidelines and One10 workflows. The role supports month-end close, project financial analysis, revenue accounting, and collaboration with Client Services Event Managers.

Responsibilities

• Understands and applies One10 project accounting processes and practices
• Propose project journal entries to manage the project’s funds
• Assist with month-end close activities, reviewing project working capital summaries, project Profit & Loss/Balance Sheet statements, and Percent of Completion schedules
• Prepares other ad hoc reports and analysis as assigned
• Strengthens and maintains efficiency of the revenue accounting function through review of processes and procedures and implementation of process improvements
• Answers account management questions related to client billing
• Contribute to revenue and deferred revenue analyses
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Participate in cross training
• Assist in month-end close process, improving close cycle time

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of comprehensive experience in project accounting
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivots, v/h-lookups, etc.)
• Financial expertise in POC billing and GAAP ASC606 revenue recognition
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and analytic problem-solving skills
• Strong organization and time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with efficient processes and the use of technology; accuracy is essential
• CPA (active or inactive)
• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience with project management applications/systems
