Sigma Systems is seeking a Business Analyst to deliver data-driven insights supporting pharmaceutical marketing strategy across customer groups and therapeutic areas. The role focuses on marketing mix and ROI analysis, predictive modeling, patient-level analytics, and collaboration with marketing, sales, data science teams, vendors, and digital agencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced analytics to measure marketing impact and support promotional strategy decisions (ROI and Marketing Mix analysis)
• Develop and interpret analytical models to guide brand planning, digital marketing, and sales optimization
• Perform predictive modeling, segmentation, and profiling using large data sets
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Data Science teams to align business tactics with analytic insights
• Execute departmental procedures to integrate marketing strategies into sales force call plans and virtual engagement channels
• Present analytical results clearly to stakeholders and leadership
• Partner with external vendors and digital agencies to improve data-driven decision making
• Support benchmarking, forecasting, and campaign performance measurement initiatives
• Build knowledge of new analytical tools, methodologies, and industry data sources

Skills

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of analytical experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience analyzing large, de-identified patient claims data sets
• Strong background in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry analytics
• Expertise in marketing mix modeling, ROI analysis, predictive modeling, and campaign performance analysis
• Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, and SQL for data analysis and extraction
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data visualization and reporting
• Ability to synthesize insights from multiple sources (e.g., market research, forecasting, and digital campaigns)
• Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills
• Experience in CardioRenal Metabolic therapeutic areas (e.g., Chronic Kidney Disease, Heart Failure)
• Prior experience working for or supporting a large pharmaceutical manufacturer
• Familiarity with digital marketing analytics (email, banner, mobile, alerts)
