Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Leodis Search is recruiting on behalf of an unnamed client that develops high-resolution live-cell imaging solutions. The Sales Director will lead sales growth and the regional sales and support operation across the Americas while managing strategic accounts and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• The Sales Director directly manages the Americas sales and support team, builds a network of regional partners, and personally manages strategic accounts, including key biotech and pharmaceutical accounts, from prospecting through closing
• Lead sales strategy and revenue growth across the Americas
• Develop strategic relationships with biotech, pharmaceutical and academic research organisations
• Personally drive key opportunities from prospecting through to deal closure
• Lead and develop a US-based sales, applications and service team
• Build and manage distribution partnerships across Canada and Latin America
• Drive adoption of innovative imaging technology across life science research markets

Skills

• M.S. or Ph.D. in a life-science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years' sales experience in scientific capital equipment, life science instrumentation, microscopy or imaging systems
• Experience in microscopy, high content imaging or advanced life science research technologies
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in academic, biotech & pharmaceutical markets in North America
• Experience managing strategic biotech or pharmaceutical accounts
• Previous leadership experience managing sales or technical teams
• A hands-on, commercially minded leader comfortable combining strategic development with direct selling
