Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VELUX America LLC is hiring a Sales Representative to grow its skylight category and market share throughout the Charlotte territory. The role develops and executes territory sales plans, builds dealer and trade relationships, promotes and trains customers on VELUX products, and supports field sales and service activities.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for developing and executing an annual territory plan focused on the area's strongest opportunities for sales growth. This includes prospecting for new business, developing dealer and trade relationships, and conducting sales presentations that effectively promote VELUX product lines
• You will provide product training to dealers, builders, contractors, and architects, including guidance on the proper application and installation of VELUX products
• The position also supports contractors with in-home selling efforts and works with customers to identify opportunities for additional product sales
• Territory activities are managed within established budgets with a focus on controlling expenses and maximizing profitability. Required sales reports and analyses must be completed accurately and on time
• The position also provides field service support as needed and may assist other Sales Representatives with training sessions, field service activities, local trade shows, and other customer-facing events

• The ability to stay informed about industry trends and apply that knowledge to sales opportunities
• Working Knowledge of Computers and Microsoft Office
• A Bachelor's degree or previous trade school training combined with knowledge of the building industry
• Previous sales experience
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, influencing, persuasion skills, and are a quick learner
• If you do speak Spanish, it will be an advantage
