Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optics11 Life develops measurement instruments used in life sciences research. The Sales Representative will develop new business in an established West Coast territory, manage sales opportunities from prospecting through purchase, represent the company at conferences and customer sites, and relay customer input to product and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and run a pipeline of new opportunities in the territory, including prospecting new leads
• Drive deals through the full cycle, from first contact to purchase order
• Qualify opportunities and bring in our Field Application Scientist for technical depth
• Represent Optics11 Life at conferences and customer sites
• Keep the CRM up to date daily; forecast accuracy matters
• Feed customer input back to product and marketing

Skills

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3–5 years of sales experience in the scientific or life sciences industry, selling to pharma, biotech, research laboratories, and academic institutions
• Proven ability to win new business and expand client networks
• Ability to engage researchers on complex scientific questions and connect diverse customer needs with high-tech measurement instruments
• Quick learner with the ability to master technical information and new systems
• Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage customer relationships, sales pipelines and forecasting
• Comfortable working remotely and independently across time zones, while proactively communicating, collaborating asynchronously, and staying connected to the wider team
• Valid driver's license
• Advanced degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences
