The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality applications that address complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native applications, translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Own end-to-end delivery of features across backend services, data platforms, APIs, and user interfaces while making pragmatic technology decisions
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle to improve engineering productivity while maintaining accountability for quality, security, and performance
• Build reliable and secure solutions by embedding DevSecOps best practices, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring capabilities
• Partner closely with product, business, security, and platform teams to communicate technical decisions, manage risks, and drive successful business outcomes

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade software solutions
• Strong experience building full-stack applications using modern technologies such as Python, Vue.js, APIs, and cloud-native architectures
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and modern software delivery practices
• Experience using AI-powered engineering tools and workflows throughout the software development lifecycle
• Strong understanding of secure software development, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and operational excellence
• Proven ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders, influence technical decisions, and work effectively in fast-paced environments
• Experience designing solutions in ambiguous environments and rapidly validating concepts through prototypes and proof-of-concepts
• Expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems design
• Experience implementing observability frameworks, monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
• Strong understanding of AI agent workflows, automated quality gates, and software engineering productivity patterns
• Demonstrated success leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams
