The Senior Manager will lead the Application Development team, modernize legacy systems, implement AI-assisted and low-code/no-code development practices, make architectural decisions, and manage project portfolios while aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of developers working across both legacy and modern applications
• Develop and execute strategies aimed at modernizing legacy systems, maintaining business continuity throughout the transition
• Implement AI-assisted development practices to boost team productivity and improve code quality
• Oversee the integration of low-code/no-code platforms and business rules engines into the development workflow
• Drive technical innovation and make crucial architectural decisions
• Manage project portfolios, ensuring effective timeline management and resource allocation
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development
• At least 5 years of management experience in application development
• 3+ years of strong expertise in maintaining and modernizing legacy systems
• 1+ year of experience utilizing AI/ML tools in the development process
• 3+ years of experience with any large public cloud such as GCP
• 1+ years of experience working with Docker /Kubernetes
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
• Knowledge of low-code/no-code platforms and business rules engines
• Proven success in leading digital transformation initiatives
• Legacy systems maintenance and modernization
• Expertise in modern development frameworks and languages
• Knowledge of business rules engines
• Understanding of cloud technologies
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices
