Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Turn2Partners is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support accounting operations for a portfolio of residential, retail, and commercial properties. The role manages day-to-day property accounting, prepares financial statements, supports budgeting, and assists with special projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operating revenue and expense variances
• Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts to supporting reports
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Process monthly payments, including debt service and owner distributions
• Manage real estate tax, insurance payments, personal property tax filings, and business licenses
• Post monthly accruals and collaborate with property and regional managers to ensure accuracy
• Maintain schedules for equity and replacement reserves
• Support annual budget preparation, re-forecasting, and cash re-forecasts
• Assist with audit requests and prepare supporting schedules
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions
• Communicate effectively with site teams, regional managers, and third-party stakeholders

Skills

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance from a U.S. accredited institution
• 3–6+ years of experience in property management accounting (residential and/or commercial)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, SUMIFs, etc.)
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• MRI a plus
