The Senior Security Engineer contributes expertise to security projects by assessing security work, providing detailed feedback, and creating scenarios and evaluation criteria across security operations, incident response, application security, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess security work, including code, analyses and incident reports
• Give clear, detailed written feedback on accuracy, risk and reasoning
• Create realistic scenarios and evaluation criteria from your experience
• Contribute to projects across SOC, incident response, AppSec and vulnerability management

Skills

• 5+ years as a security engineer, analyst, architect or CISO
• Ownership of incident response, security architecture or a compliance programme
• Strong written English; able to explain technical issues to engineers and executives
• You work from your own location and must be authorised to work there
• Hands-on SOC, IR, detection or AppSec work
• Published research, CVEs, bug-bounty acceptances or CTF results
• CISSP, CISM, OSCP, GIAC or an international equivalent
