Rise2Recruit is recruiting for an unnamed technology company building a software platform involving distributed systems, AI infrastructure and energy technology. The Senior Software Engineer will develop and scale backend and cloud infrastructure, contribute to system architecture, and own projects through production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and scale high-performance distributed systems and backend services
• Develop cloud-native applications handling large volumes of real-time data
• Build reliable APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures
• Improve system performance, scalability and infrastructure reliability
• Work across cloud infrastructure, deployment automation and observability
• Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leadership on system architecture and engineering decisions
• Take ownership of projects from initial design through to production

Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend development experience using Go, Python, Java, Rust or C++
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale
• Strong understanding of microservices, system architecture and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes or Docker
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong computer science fundamentals
• Experience working in technically demanding engineering environments
• Experience in AI infrastructure, cloud computing, data infrastructure or energy technology
