Pcnaid Inc is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to help design, develop, and maintain internal software tools and web applications supporting its operations. The role includes implementing back-end features, fixing bugs, testing and debugging software, and documenting code and technical processes with guidance from senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• This remote internship role for a Software Engineer involves contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of internal software tools and web-based applications that support Pcnaid’s operations
• Interns will assist with implementing back-end features, fixing bugs, writing clean and maintainable code, and participating in code reviews under the guidance of senior engineers
• Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with team members, translating requirements into technical solutions, testing and debugging software, and documenting code and technical processes

Skills

• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles
• Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript)
• Candidates should possess understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including classes, inheritance, and modular design
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Back-End Web Development, such as APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a remote, collaborative environment
• Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software testing practices is beneficial
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
