The Senior Frontend Software Engineer will focus on building high-quality web experiences, advancing frontend architecture, and optimizing CMS-driven websites.

Responsibilities

• Build accessible, secure, and high-performing user experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve user engagement
• Ensure quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices
• Contribute to platform performance, reliability, monitoring, and scalability initiatives
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and support architectural decisions
• Manage and enhance CMS platforms, including custom themes, modules, and plugins
• Ensure compliance with SEO best practices

Skills

• 7+ years of full stack software development experience with strong focus on frontend development. Must have some backend experience too
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS. At this senior level, deep architectural experience with React is expected
• Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress development and administration is a plus
• Working knowledge of PHP or Python or Golang for back-end development
• Familiarity with Varnish, Solr, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Strong understanding of testing, security, accessibility, and modern web development best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Linux experience and comfort working in a remote environment
