[Remote] Sr Oracle Technical Functional Analyst

Remote · Thailand Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OSG is hiring a Senior Oracle Technical Functional Analyst to own and support its Oracle E-Business Suite R12 platform. The role focuses on billing accuracy, month-end close, inventory and purchasing support, Oracle development and reporting, client portal configuration, and leading offshore developers.

Responsibilities

  • Own billing accuracy. Resolve AutoInvoice rejections, AR and revenue file issues, and invoice interfaces to Great Plains and DataServ — fixing the root cause, not just the symptom
  • Lead month-end close, including onboarding new clients into billing and handling metering and FedEx supplemental uploads
  • Run pricing changes safely: annual USPS postage increases, client price and coupon updates, and statement minimums — scripted, tested in non-production and reconciled after go-live
  • Support inventory and purchasing: PO receipts and approvals, quantity-on-hand and transaction corrections, and usage and stock reporting for our sites
  • Build and maintain PL/SQL, concurrent programs, and Oracle APEX reports and alerts that help support and finance teams catch failures early
  • Configure and support Portal client data: client setup, archives, job and image purges, and status and notification issues
  • Direct an offshore team: write clear stories with acceptance criteria, review code, approve production migrations, and run a clean end-of-day handover
  • Serve as the escalation point for P1/P2 Oracle and portal incidents
  • Keep work visible: maintain current status and logged effort on the board, and propose fixes for recurring issues instead of waiting for tickets

Skills

  • 6+ years of techno-functional experience on Oracle EBS R12, with hands-on depth in Receivables/AutoInvoice and at least one of Inventory, Purchasing or Payables
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL, including concurrent programs, interfaces and the EBS data model
  • Experience building Oracle APEX reports and forms
  • A track record supporting month-end close and debugging interfaces to an external GL or billing system
  • Experience leading offshore developers: story writing, code review and release control
  • A proactive mindset — you raise and fix problems the business hasn't reported yet
  • Clear, confident communication with finance and operations users
  • AR + AutoInvoice, eBTax, SLA/GL, plus at least one of Inventory, Purchasing, Payables, Advanced Pricing/Order Management, Oracle Workflow, Forms personalization
  • SQL, PL/SQL, concurrent programs, APEX, BI Publisher, Oracle Alerts
  • AutoInvoice, INV/PO open interfaces, SQL\•Loader, UTL\_FILE
  • AOL (lookups, value sets, responsibilities), FNDLOAD
  • Request logs, SQL trace/TKPROF, lock analysis, period-close exceptions report
  • Integrations experience; Azure DevOps
  • Print and mail or high-volume billing experience
  • USPS postage pricing
  • Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
  • Workato or a similar iPaaS
  • SOX or access-control experience
  • UI development (JavaScript/ReactJS, OAF, ADF)
