Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Spectrum Search Group is partnering with an unnamed healthcare organization to hire a Senior Staff Accountant. The role handles accounting for several subsidiaries, prepares monthly financials, supports audits and leadership, and helps improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries, including supporting schedules and documentation
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to multiple outside systems and data sources
• Review monthly P&Ls for discrepancies and issues
• Research and explain unexpected changes in the numbers
• Help with external audits
• Support the leadership team
• Help improve processes as the company grows
• Build strong working relationships with your manager and teammates

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• You do well in a fast-paced, changing environment and can tell when priorities need to shift
• NetSuite strongly preferred
