Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Syntax is seeking a SuccessFactors Consultant to provide hands-on expertise across multiple SuccessFactors modules and support full lifecycle implementations. The role leads client design discussions, translates business requirements into solutions, and helps optimize clients’ HR technology landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on application expert in the SuccessFactors suite of products
• Lead and support full life cycle implementations across SuccessFactors modules, with emphasis on Employee Central, Compensation, Variable Pay, and Onboarding
• Apply deep HR process knowledge to design practical, scalable solutions that align with business and technology requirements
• Lead client design workshops and guide solution design practices and standards aligned to SAP best practices
• Translate business goals into appropriate solutions while assessing feasibility, risks, and optimization opportunities
• Troubleshoot issues and recommend alternatives when business requirements conflict with standard system functionality
• Prepare, review, and support project deliverables while staying within project scope
• Support functional and technical leads during workshops and project activities
• Design and support proof of concepts to validate proposed technical solutions
• Provide impact assessments related to Quarterly Releases and other platform changes
• Assist with workshop and training materials as needed
• Gather, analyze, and document client business requirements and objectives
• Develop system configurations that meet client specifications while adhering to best practices and implementation standards
• Support post-go-live application activities under a Managed Services model
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and the ongoing development of the SAP practice
• Proactively identify process improvements and provide clear, concise solution definitions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• 8+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience
• 3+ full life cycle implementations of Employee Central, Compensation, Variable Pay, and Onboarding
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of at least two SuccessFactors modules
• Strong understanding of HR functions, processes, and business practices
• Experience with data migration and data management in SuccessFactors
• Experience with SAP Activate Methodology for SuccessFactors
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues and provide effective resolution options
• Ability to assess existing solutions and recommend optimizations based on system functionality and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project team environment
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• Strong presentation, facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• SuccessFactors certifications in Employee Central, Compensation, and Variable Pay required
• Professionally certified in Employee Central, Compensation, and Variable Pay
• Additional SuccessFactors certifications highly desired, including Onboarding, Time, Benefits, or Recruiting
• Experience with Employee Central Time Off, Timesheet, Benefits, and/or Time Tracking
• Industry certifications such as PMP, SAP HR, or ITIL are a plus
• Experience supporting post-go-live services or managed services engagements
• Exposure to complex enterprise environments and client-facing transformation programs
• An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• Additional SuccessFactors certifications such as Onboarding, Time, Benefits, or Recruiting strongly preferred
• Professional certifications such as PMP, SAP HR, or ITIL are desirable
