Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Moskowitz LLP is hiring a Tax Accountant to perform accounting functions focused on complex tax return preparation and tax planning. The role includes preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients, and supporting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate, efficient, and timely completion and/or review of Individual, Corporate, and Partnership tax return preparation
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements
• Conduct client calls and meetings to facilitate the exchange of information and documentation to support services
• Identify opportunities to expand the scope of services a client is using with the firm and engage internal partners to support expanding the client relationship
• Maintain positive working relationship with clients

Skills

• The qualified candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Demonstrated experience successfully working with a wide range of clients in tax preparation and review, accounting, and providing advice and solutions to clients
• Tax preparation: 7+ years
• Experience with Proseries Accounting Software (required)
• Review of tax returns: 5 years
• Experience working in a paperless envirnment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• ACTIVE CPA (Required)
• Solid working knowledge of ProConnect Tax
