Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Virtual Labs is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the program lead on the NFC project. The role focuses on delivering application development projects, coordinating technical teams and government stakeholders, and managing project plans, risks, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the program lead in planning and delivering application development projects
• Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and follow-up actions
• Work with technical teams to understand requirements, resolve delivery obstacles, and communicate trade-offs
• Coordinate with government stakeholders and maintain clear project documentation
• Support software development lifecycle processes and applicable government delivery requirements
• Take ownership of assigned work and keep teams aligned in a fully remote environment

Skills

• Need USC or GC only
• PMP certification
• Experience managing IT or software development projects for government customers
• Previous professional experience in software development, coding, or application architecture
• Ability to discuss technical challenges with developers and communicate their impact to business stakeholders
• Strong project planning, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage delivery remotely
• Experience transitioning from a developer, technical lead, or architect role into project management
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery practices
• Experience preparing SDLC and government project documentation
