• Write well-structured articles on AI, biotech, automation, space, energy, and related topics
• Translate complex ideas into clear prose for a smart general audience
• Connect current developments to longer-term questions about humanity’s future
• Work with editors to refine tone, accuracy, and structure
• Suggest story ideas and help shape our editorial pipeline

Skills

• Strong writing portfolio
• Ability to research unfamiliar topics quickly and write with clarity and precision
• Comfort with technical subjects without needing to be an engineer or researcher
• Interest in AI, longevity, space, automation, or the philosophy of technological progress
• Reliable, self-directed, and able to hit deadlines
• Tech, science, policy, or ideas-focused work preferred
• Familiarity with TESCREAL-adjacent ideas (longtermism, EA, singularity, e/acc, etc.)
