Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Impel Consultant is conducting a confidential search for a client seeking a Vice President, Marketing. The role leads company-wide marketing strategy across brand, growth, product marketing, demand generation, CRM and digital channels, partnering with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive measurable customer growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide marketing strategy across brand, growth, product marketing and digital channels
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for products, services, launches and growth initiatives
• Build scalable growth-marketing and demand-generation programmes that strengthen qualified demand and customer acquisition
• Lead brand strategy and positioning, creating clear, differentiated messaging for priority customers and markets
• Partner with Product, Sales, Business Development and executive leaders on product marketing, customer insight, launches and commercial priorities
• Strengthen CRM and lifecycle marketing to improve engagement, conversion, onboarding, customer retention and long-term customer value
• Use performance data to optimise digital marketing activity, marketing investment and commercial outcomes
• Build and develop a high-performing marketing team and manage relevant agency and vendor relationships
• Provide internal strategic counsel to the CEO and executive leadership team on marketing, growth, customer strategy and go-to-market priorities

Skills

• 10 years of progressive senior marketing leadership experience, with responsibility for strategy, execution and commercial outcomes
• Demonstrated capability across go-to-market strategy, growth marketing, brand strategy, demand generation, product marketing, customer acquisition, customer retention, CRM, lifecycle marketing and digital marketing
• Experience leading and developing marketing teams and managing external agencies or vendors
• Experience in, or marketing to, one or more of these sectors: Hospitality, Software Development or Financial Services
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder-management and cross-functional leadership skills
• A practical, data-informed approach to building marketing capability and improving performance
• Relevant backgrounds may include senior marketing leadership, growth leadership, product marketing, commercial strategy, business development or executive advisory work
• Equivalent transferable experience will be considered
