Bridge Over Troubled Water (BOTW) is seeking a volunteer consultant to develop a comprehensive, research-informed marketing and communications strategy. The role will clarify BOTW’s positioning, tailor messaging to priority audiences, and provide a practical multichannel roadmap and tools to support awareness, recruitment, and partnership development.

Responsibilities

• Assess our current brand and messaging, clarify BOTW's distinct value, and develop consistent positioning that reflects our mission and the needs we address
• Develop key messages, language recommendations, and calls to action tailored to each audience
• Include practical approaches for testing whether messaging resonates and builds trust
• Recommend effective approaches for social media, email marketing, Google Ads, website communications, and partner outreach, including channel priorities and opportunities for integration
• By the end of this project, the consultant will deliver a comprehensive, actionable strategy and provide editable tools and templates that establishes BOTW's positioning, strengthens our messaging, and provides a clear roadmap for reaching and engaging our priority audiences
• It should help us communicate with greater clarity, build credibility, attract the right participants and partners, and make informed decisions about where to invest our limited marketing resources
