Career DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our Steel Joist & Deck Sales team.The position territory will include, but not limited to, the Southeast Region of the U.S., including Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina.The position is remote and requires up to 50% travel.JOB SUMMARY :Develop and manage CSC customer accounts by creating strong relationships and providing a high level of customer service that is consistent with our corporate mission, values and departmental objectives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :Develop strong relationships with customers at assigned accounts via in person visits and frequent communicationPrepare cost estimates and negotiate projects to meet departmental objectivesReview contract documents to determine material and labor requirements and prepare takeoff for pricingInput takeoff into CSC Design and Pricing software to determine accurate project costingGenerate a scope of work along with all exclusions, clarifications, and conditions listing all bid documents utilized in preparation of estimateCollaborate with Sales Engineers to present value engineering opportunities to offer savings for both the customer and CSCMaintain a sales funnel with projects that have a likelihood of being awarded to CSCCollaborate with project teams to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded.Monitor activities and pricing levels of competitors by soliciting feedback from customersWork closely with internal teams including project managers, estimators, and engineers to ensure the successful execution of contractsProvide feedback and insights on customer preferences, competitors, and market conditions to help refine service offerings and sales approaches.Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
