Seasonal K‑12 EdTech Customer Success Manager – AI‑Powered Assessment & Adaptive Learning Solutions Specialist – Drive Student Success & Teacher Empowerment at brighthush

Remote · Morocco Full-time

About brighthush

brighthush is a trailblazing K‑12 EdTech company that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to transform state assessment preparation and adaptive learning. With a nationwide footprint, we partner with schools and districts to deliver data‑driven, personalized learning experiences that help students master core competencies while easing the administrative burden on educators. Our mission is simple: empower teachers, inspire students, and elevate educational outcomes through technology that adapts to every learner’s needs.

Founded on a passion for equitable education, brighthush blends cutting‑edge AI with proven pedagogical frameworks. We’re proud to support thousands of classrooms across the United States, and we’re looking for dynamic, customer‑centric professionals to join our growing team. If you’re excited about shaping the future of education, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and want to make a tangible impact on student success, we want to hear from you.

Why brighthush?

At brighthush, we’re not just building software – we’re building a brighter future for students, teachers, and communities across the nation. Our culture is built on three pillars:

  • Innovation: We invest heavily in research and development, ensuring our AI models stay ahead of the curve and our products continuously evolve to meet educators’ needs.
  • Collaboration: Our remote‑first approach means you’ll work with cross‑functional teams from product, engineering, sales, and marketing, all united by a shared goal: student success.
  • Impact: Every feature we launch, every training we deliver, and every support ticket we resolve directly influences classroom outcomes. Your work will be measured in student achievement, teacher satisfaction, and district growth.

Role Overview

As a K‑12 EdTech Customer Success Manager at brighthush, you will be the primary advocate for our school and district partners after the sale. You’ll own the end‑to‑end customer journey—from onboarding and training to ongoing engagement, renewal, and upsell opportunities. This role is a hybrid of relationship management, product expertise, and strategic consulting, all aimed at ensuring our clients extract maximum value from our AI‑powered assessment tools and adaptive learning platforms.

We’re offering two contract openings—one full‑time (40 hrs/week) and one part‑time (20 hrs/week)—with the potential to transition to a full‑time, W‑2 position. Both roles are remote, but candidates must reside in Florida, with a preference for those within driving distance of Orlando, FL. The contract rate is $32 per hour, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Growth: Build and nurture daily relationships with schools and districts via phone, email, chat, and Zoom. Monitor product usage, identify opportunities for expansion, and proactively drive renewals and related product sales.
  • Onboarding & Training: Own the customer onboarding process, including rostering new schools onto the platform. Deliver engaging, on‑demand training sessions and create instructional content (e.g., videos, whitepapers) for teachers and administrators. Partner with Sales to align engagement strategies, upsell, and secure renewals.
  • Problem Solving & Support: Diagnose customer challenges, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to test enhancements. Implement scalable solutions that improve the overall customer experience.
  • Process Improvement: Design, execute, and iterate on engagement campaigns, talk tracks, and best‑practice playbooks. Continuously refine processes to elevate customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Serve as the trusted liaison between external clients and internal teams—Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing—ensuring clear communication and alignment on customer priorities.
  • Data‑Driven Insight: Leverage usage analytics to identify trends, forecast renewal risks, and recommend proactive actions. Present findings to stakeholders and influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Travel & In‑Person Visits: Conduct occasional in‑person visits (approximately once a month) to strengthen relationships and gather on‑site feedback.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Customer Success, with a strong preference for EdTech or K‑12 experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working in a school as a teacher or administrator is highly desirable.
  • Transitioning teachers are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort with SaaS platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and a consultative sales mindset.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, unstructured environment.
  • Florida residency required; proximity to Orlando preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for in‑person client visits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI‑driven educational tools or adaptive learning platforms.
  • Knowledge of state assessment standards and curriculum alignment.
  • Experience in a customer‑facing role within a SaaS company.
  • Basic project management skills and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., brighthush, brighthush).

  • Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive communication in both written and verbal formats.
  • Adaptability: Quick to pivot in response to changing priorities and new information.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with cloud‑based platforms, learning management systems, and basic troubleshooting.
