Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end development of conversational chatbot solutions on the brighthush platform, including integration with brighthush Proactive AI Agent and other AI services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams—product managers, UX designers, data scientists, and QA engineers—to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑quality code.
• Write clean, maintainable JavaScript (ES6+), Python, or Java code, following best practices for version control, testing, and documentation.
• Design, implement, and maintain real‑time NLP pipelines, leveraging large language models (LLMs) and generative AI techniques to deliver contextual, accurate responses.
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing; perform code reviews; and troubleshoot production issues to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Develop and maintain reusable chatbot components, libraries, and templates that accelerate future projects.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospective meetings, providing technical insights and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior developers and interns, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with emerging AI/ML research, industry trends, and new tools, proposing innovative solutions that keep brighthush at the cutting edge.
• Prepare and deliver compelling demos, presentations, and proof‑of‑concepts to internal stakeholders and external clients.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience building and deploying NLP systems, including LLM‑based or generative AI solutions.
• At least 3 years of full‑stack software development experience, with a strong focus on real‑time, event‑driven architectures.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (5+ years) and familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Express).
• Hands‑on experience with chatbot platforms such as brighthush, brighthush Studio, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of voice, chat, and multi‑channel integration (VoIP, IVR, ACD, SMS, Email).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with brighthush CXone, brighthush Studio, or similar contact center platforms.
• Background in data science or ML engineering, including experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
