This role combines data engineering, data quality, and business intelligence, helping ensure reliable data pipelines and actionable reporting that support business and marketing performance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the data stack, troubleshooting production issues, and taking ownership in a small, collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Google BigQuery. Support and maintain data workflows and cloud-based services within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run and Cloud Functions. Build, maintain, and enhance BI reports and dashboards using Looker. Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Investigate and resolve production data issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Translate business reporting needs into reliable data models, datasets, and dashboards. Collaborate with data engineering and business stakeholders to support reporting, analytics, and operational needs. Manage work through Jira and sprint-based workflows, communicating progress and potential blockers.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL . Experience building and maintaining data transformations using dbt . Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery . Experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , including cloud services such as Cloud Run and Cloud Functions. Recent, professional experience developing or maintaining reports and dashboards in Looker . Experience supporting data pipelines, data quality, and business intelligence reporting. Ability to troubleshoot production issues and work independently with minimal direction. Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira or similar project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting marketing analytics, digital advertising, or performance marketing. Familiarity with e-commerce, web analytics, customer acquisition, or lead-generation data. Experience integrating data from multiple sources to support business reporting and performance measurement. Background in the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
