Senior Data Engineer – AWS | Dell Boomi | Salesforce Location: Remote – United States Time Zone: EST Experience: 10+ Years Job Type: Contract We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Data Engineering, AWS, Dell Boomi, and Salesforce integration for a long-term client opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Design and scale cloud-native data platforms and high-throughput integration architectures using AWS and Dell Boomi. Lead integrations between Salesforce CRM, legacy systems, and AWS cloud data warehouses. Architect high-volume Salesforce data pipelines using CDC, Platform Events, and Bulk API 2.0. Automate cloud and Boomi environments using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD. Establish data quality, observability, and integration standards. Mentor senior engineers and contribute to the overall data engineering roadmap. Design scalable, secure, and highly available data integration solutions. Required Skills: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Application Integration. Strong AWS experience with S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, and EMR. Strong hands-on experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere. Experience with enterprise integration patterns including Pub/Sub and Event-Driven Architecture. Strong experience designing error-handling and monitoring frameworks. In-depth Salesforce knowledge, including Salesforce limits, data modeling, standard/custom objects, and SOQL. Advanced programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala. Expert-level SQL and experience optimizing queries for multi-terabyte datasets. Strong data modeling experience with Data Vault and/or Kimball/Star Schema. Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. Preferred Background: Candidates with strong experience across AWS + Dell Boomi + Salesforce integrations are highly preferred.
