About the Opportunity: The SENIOR ENGINEERING MANAGER (INFRASTRUCTURE) will lead the Infrastructure team within Engineering Foundations, overseeing critical cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, large language model infrastructure, database platforms, observability, and incident response. This role is central to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the core software systems and AWS infrastructure. The manager will drive the transition toward more self-serve infrastructure to enable faster, safer development across the organization, while building and growing a high-performing team. This leadership position influences engineering strategy and operations, contributing directly to the company’s mission by supporting the platform that enables mental healthcare delivery. Responsibilities: Lead and grow the Infrastructure engineering team, including hiring and developing engineers. Manage cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, LLM infrastructure, database platforms, and observability tools. Oversee incident response and reliability improvements for the platform. Drive the transition from reactive support to strategic, self-serve infrastructure. Define production readiness standards for AI workloads. Collaborate with Security and product engineering teams on container security and secrets management. Establish and maintain the platform’s accessibility and usability for dependent engineering teams. Requirements: 5-7+ years of engineering leadership experience, including leading infrastructure or platform teams. 5+ years as a Software or Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in design reviews and incident management. Proven track record managing the transition to self-serve platform infrastructure. Experience managing relationships between platform teams and product engineering teams. Ability to balance competing demands such as support queues, strategic roadmaps, and on-call rotations.
