Open role
Senior Growth Marketing Manager - Content
About the Role
Estuary's team produces a steady stream of great content: deep technical writing from Developer Relations, sharp positioning from Product Marketing, benchmarks, docs, and customer stories. Right now, most of it is published once and read once. Your job is to change that.
The Senior Growth Marketing Manager is the amplifier of Estuary content. You won’t need to write long form content, however, you will take every strong piece our team creates and find creative ways to break it down, reshape it, and get it in front of the right people: social snippets, short video, email sequences, community posts, newsletter features, search-optimized derivatives, sales enablement, and formats we haven't tried yet. You make our content findable by prospects, useful to customers, and impossible to miss for the data teams we serve.
Think of yourself as the content wizard. One long-form piece goes in, a dozen pieces come out, each tuned to the channel and audience it lives on. The goal is simple: get more mileage out of every writing investment we make, reach as many of the right eyeballs as possible, and turn that reach into awareness of Estuary and ultimately driving registrations and hand raisers.
Core Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Distribution
This is the center of the role and where your artistry comes in. You own how Estuary content gets in front of our personas and agents, and you use what you learn from distribution to shape strategy.
- Partner with our SEO/AEO lead to develop content strategy for campaigns: which topics we pursue, which formats we invest in, and how each piece is designed to be found and shared from day one
- Build a distribution engine for blog posts, whitepapers, benchmarks, docs, and customer stories across social, email, community, and partner channels to drive awareness
- Slice and dice long-form content into bite-size posts, graphics, short video, and threads, each written for a specific persona: the data engineer evaluating CDC options reads differently than the data leader signing the contract
- Measure content performance at the piece and format level, figure out what works and what doesn't, and feed those findings back into the content strategy so every cycle gets sharper
Webinar/Digital event programs
You own the webinar program from calendar to clips.
- Build and maintain the webinar calendar: a mix of educational sessions for practitioners and thought leadership for data leaders, with topics drawn from what's resonating in our content and pipeline
- Own end-to-end promotion for every event, including landing pages, email sequences, social, partner co-promotion, and reminder flows, and own registration and attendance targets
- Coordinate with internal speakers, customers, and partners so each event runs smoothly
- Extend the life of every webinar: turn recordings into clips, carve the Q&A into FAQ content, package the deck and transcript into follow-up assets, and route the best material back into the distribution engine so a single live hour keeps working for months
Social & Lifecycle Channels
Social media and email are the two channels this role runs directly, and both are extensions of the content program above.
- Be the voice of Estuary on our primary social channels: set the posting cadence against the content calendar, carry the brand voice, and keep the feed active with new content, events, company news, employee spotlights, customer stories, and product updates
- Support email marketing across the customer journey, using our content to move people from first touch through signup, activation, and ongoing engagement, with segmentation by persona and stage
- Track what lands on each channel and feed the results back into the content strategy
What We're Looking For
We care more about what you can make than how many years you've made it. You are someone with a creative mind and eye. You write, design, edit, and publish as second nature, and you have the instinct to know what will grab attention.
- Hands-on experience in content marketing, social amplification, or growth marketing, ideally in B2B software or a technical product
- Strong copywriting skills: you can turn a 3,000-word technical post into a headline, a thread, an email, and a caption without losing what made it good
- Design fluency in Figma and Canva. You produce your own graphics, social cards, and one-pagers without waiting on a designer
- Video production and editing skills: you can shoot, cut, caption, and publish short-form video and webinar clips yourself.
- A track record of running social channels or campaigns, whether for a company or your own audience on LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or elsewhere. You know what performs because you've watched the numbers
- A knack for packaging: given raw material, you instinctively see the ten ways to turn it into something people want to click, share, and read
- Comfort measuring your own work and adjusting based on what the data says
Nice to have: familiarity with data infrastructure or developer audiences, experience with HubSpot and/or publishing on social platforms. A knack for packaging, and a sense of humor: you take serious technical content and make it sharp, surprising, and shareable. You've made things people didn't expect to enjoy and have shared as a result.
Show us your work. We'll ask for a portfolio or links to things you've made: posts, videos, graphics, campaigns, a channel you've grown. If something you created got traction, we want to see it and hear how you did it.
Hands-on content, social, or growth marketing experience, strong copywriting, Figma and Canva fluency, short-form video production, channel analytics, and experience marketing technical B2B software preferred.
