Responsibilities: Manage and litigate a diverse caseload from inception through trial and resolution Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents Conduct depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances Develop case strategy, perform legal research, and analyze evidence Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel Mentor and supervise junior associates and support staff Maintain client relationships through clear, consistent communication and updates Requirements: Strong litigation background, specifically landlord-tenant habitability defense. Relevant insurance defense experience involving habitability claims. Hands-on litigation experience rather than transactional real estate. Minimum 4+ years for junior attorneys and 10+ years for senior attorneys. Experience representing landlords, property owners, or insurers in relevant disputes.
